El jueves 21 de diciembre nos juntamos en GREFA con todo el equipo de educadores ambientales del Centro de Recursos Ambientales Chico Mendes, en Rivas-Vaciamadrid. Les estuvimos enseñando las instalaciones de animales irrecuperables para que pudieran conocer mejor nuestra labor. Además, nos reunimos para compartir experiencias y hablar de proyectos. Les estuvimos hablando sobre nuestro nuevo proyecto Docendo Discimus y les compartimos diversos recursos que podían usar, de la web, para realizar sus actividades. Parte de este proyecto es conectar con otros centros y poder compartir las experiencias, conocimientos y actividades que giran en torno a los medios esteparios y la biodiversidad que vive en ellos.

On Thursday 21 December we welcomed a visit to GREFA from the entire team of environmental educators from the Chico Mendes Environmental Resources Centre in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. We showed them the facilities for irrecoverable animals so that they could learn more about our work. We also shared experiences and talk about projects. We told them about our new project Docendo Discimus and shared with them various resources that they could found on the website of the project to carry out their activities. One of this project’s objectives is to stablish networks with other centres and to be able to share experiences, knowledge and activities that revolve around steppe environments and the biodiversity that lives in them.
