Los días 17 de marzo y 30 de abril acudimos al colegio Príncipes de Asturias en Quijorna para participar en un evento para pintar un mural y realizar talleres para los niños. Estas jornadas fueron muy interesantes, ya que aparte de divulgar nuestro proyecto, pudimos crear conexiones entre diferentes centros.

Además contamos con la ayuda de algunos alumnos del Grado Superior en Educación y Control Ambiental del centro de Capacitación Agraria de Villaviciosa de Odón. Miriam, Diego y Guille participaron y enseñaron a los niños los juegos que ellos mismos habían diseñado para dar a conocer las aves esteparias.

On the 17th of March and the 30th of April, we visited the Príncipes de Asturias Primary School in Quijorna and took part in an event where we painted a big mural along the school wall and held workshops for the children. It was a rewarding experience as, in addition to spreading our project, we were able to create links between different centres.

We also invited some students from the Higher Degree Course in Education and Environmental Control at the Villaviciosa de Odón Agricultural Training Centre. Miriam, Diego and Guille took part and showed the children the games they had designed to raise awareness of the steppe birds.

Por otro lado, nos llevamos los juegos que habían diseñado los alumnos del Grado de Educación Infantil en la Universidad de Valladolid. Pudimos probar los juegos con los 120 participantes que nos acompañaron, niños de 1º a 6º de primaria. Además, les pusimos el reto de crear sus propios juegos, cogiendo como inspiración los de la Universidad.

We also took with us the games designed by the students of the Early Childhood Education course at the University of Valladolid. We were able to test the games with the 120 participants who accompanied us, children from year 1 to 6 of primary school. We also challenged them to create their own games, inspired by those of the university.
