Durante la feria Naturcyl, instalamos un stand informativo dedicado a dar a conocer la riqueza y diversidad de las aves esteparias.
A lo largo del evento y a través de paneles, folletos y nuestra experiencia, ofrecimos información detallada sobre las características biológicas y el comportamiento de estas aves, así como sobre las amenazas a su hábitat y nuestros proyectos de conservación. De esta forma, numerosos visitantes se acercaron a nuestro espacio para aprender sobre las distintas especies que podemos encontrar en las estepas castellanas y conocer los retos a los que se enfrentan.
Además, difundimos información sobre la página web de nuestro proyecto «Docendo Discimus» y los recursos educativos gratuitos disponibles en ella, invitando a los asistentes a utilizar estos materiales, tanto en el presente curso como en los próximos. Estos recursos incluyen fichas didácticas, juegos y propuestas de actividades dirigidas a docentes, estudiantes y cualquier persona interesada en conocer más sobre las especies esteparias y su conservación. Esperamos que esta iniciativa sirva de inspiración para integrar estos contenidos en la ciudadanía, fomentando así un mayor compromiso con la protección del entorno natural.
La acogida de nuestro stand fue excelente, y agradecemos su interés a todas las personas que se acercaron a compartir su curiosidad por la biodiversidad de nuestra región. La feria fue una gran oportunidad para sensibilizar a un público amplio sobre la importancia de proteger estos ecosistemas y contribuir al mantenimiento de su equilibrio ecológico.
During the Naturcyl fair, we set up an information stand to raise awareness of the richness and diversity of steppe birds.
Throughout the event, with the help of panels, leaflets and our experience, we provided detailed information on the biological characteristics and behaviour of these birds, as well as on the threats to their habitat and our conservation projects. In this way, many visitors came to our space to learn about the different species found in the Castilian steppes and the challenges they face.
We also distributed information about ‘Docendo Discimus’ project website and the free educational resources available on it, inviting visitors to use these materials in both current and future courses. These resources include educational worksheets, games and suggested activities for teachers, students and anyone interested in learning more about steppe species and their conservation. We hope that this initiative will serve as an inspiration to integrate this content into civic education, thus promoting a greater commitment to the protection of the natural environment.
Our stand was very well received and we would like to thank all those who came to share their curiosity about the biodiversity of our region. The fair was a great opportunity to raise awareness among the general public of the importance of protecting these ecosystems and contributing to maintaining their ecological balance.
