Además de hacer sesiones con los alumnos, también lo hacemos con profesores. Esto nos permite crear alianzas más profundas con los docentes, transmitir ideas o inspiración para hacer actividades nuevas y compartir recursos del proyecto. Los profes nos pudieron hablar más, también, sobre su proyecto de centro «Los aviones» y nos contaron que querían trabajar con los niños sobre los peligros, la conservación de los nidos, migraciones y el valor como insectívoros de estas aves.

Además, nos enseñaron distintos espacios del colegio dedicados a las aves y al medio ambiente, como la pajarera o el huerto. También, nos enseñaron maquetas de aves creadas por los niños con materiales reciclados, dibujos o collages hechos con hojas.

As well as running sessions with pupils, we also run sessions with teachers. This allows us to build deeper partnerships with teachers, share ideas for new activities and project resources. In this ocasion the teachers also had the oppportunity to tell us more about their school project ‘The Common House Martin’ and how they wanted to work with the children on the dangers, nest protection, migrations and the value of these birds as insectivores.

They also showed us different areas of the school dedicated to birds and the environment, such as the aviary and the vegetable garden. They also showed us models of birds made by the children using recycled materials, drawings or collages made with leaves.
