El 20 de septiembre, nos desplazamos a la feria Naturcyl para realizar una serie de talleres educativos con estudiantes de 5º y 6º de primaria. Participaron un total de 49 escolares: 26 del Colegio Cooperativa Alcázar de Segovia y 23 del CEIP La Pradera de Valsaín.

En esta actividad, enmarcada en el contexto de la feria, se llevaron a cabo diferentes talleres y juegos didácticos enfocados en la identificación y conocimiento de las aves esteparias, como la avutarda, el sisón y el alcaraván. Así, el alumnado, con edades comprendidas entre los 10 y 12 años, aprendió a reconocer las características de estas especies y la importancia de su conservación, participando activamente en todos los juegos y demostrando gran interés y curiosidad por la fauna local.

On the 20th of September, we travelled to the Naturcyl fair to carry out a series of educational workshops with primary school students in the 5th and 6th grades. A total of 49 students participated: 26 from Cooperativa Alcázar de Segovia school and 23 from CEIP La Pradera de Valsaín.

The activity, which took place within the framework of the fair, consisted of various workshops and educational games focusing on the identification and knowledge of steppe birds, such as the Great Bustard, the Little Bustard and the Stone Curlew. The students, aged between 10 and 12, learnt about the characteristics of these species and the importance of their conservation, taking an active part in all the games and showing great interest and curiosity about the local fauna.
