«Abrazapájaros» es una propuesta de la Fundación Personas, dentro del Proyecto MIRAR, que tiene como objetivo cambiar la idea del espantapájaros y ayudar a entender que las aves son muy beneficiosas para el campo. Para ello, han creado unas grandes estructuras con materiales que atraen a las aves, como cajas nido o comederos, a las que han llamado «Abrazapájaros». Durante los campamentos de GREFA hemos querido replicar esta idea tan chula y hemos hecho pequeños «Abrazapájaros». De esta forma podemos darles a conocer el proyecto, la gran iniciativa de la Fundación y la importancia de cuidar nuestro entorno y convivir con la fauna flora que nos rodea. Los niños pudieron echar a volar su creatividad y crear estos pequeños muñequitos con recortes de goma eva, varillas, alambres, palos de madera, telas…

‘Bird Huggers’ is a proposal from the Fundación Personas, within the MIRAR Project, which aims to change the idea of scarecrows and contribute to the understanding of how beneficial birds are for the countryside. They have created large structures with materials that attract birds, such as nesting boxes or feeders. They have named them ‘Abrazapájaros’ (Bird Huggers). During GREFA summer camps we wanted to replicate this cool idea and we made our own mini  ‘Bird Huggers’. This way we let kids know about the project, the great initiative of the Foundation and the importance of taking care of our environment and coexisting with the flora and fauna that surrounds us. The children were able to let their creativity fly and create these little dolls with cut-outs of eva rubber, rods, wires, wooden sticks, fabrics…
