Ya tenemos colgado en nuestra web el primer resultado del Informe de prácticas. Pertenece al grupo de bachillerato del IES Simone Veil en Paracuellos del Jarama. Por una parte nos presentan su proyecto de centro «Sigue la huella», de metodología STEM, en el cual tratan el Control Biológico con depredadores y la investigación de su alimentación a través de la disección de egagrópilas. Nosotros hemos participado a través de charlas sobre GREFA, biodiversidad y sostenibilidad, además de actividades prácticas como identificación de aves, juego de casos de hospital, observación de cámaras de cajas nido o, identificación de rastros.
Además, ellos han diseccionado egagrópilas de lechuzas recogidas de las cajas nido y han recompuesto el esqueleto de los micromamíferos de los cuales se habían alimentado. Luego, han hecho carteles divulgativos y le han transmitido a los alumnos de 1º de la ESO toda la información, para que pudieran diseccionarlas y aprender sobre este proyecto.

We have already published the first result of the internship report on our website. It belongs to Simone Veil secondary school in Paracuellos del Jarama. On the one hand, they presented us with their school project «Follow the track», using the STEM methodology, in which they deal with biological control with predators and the study of their diet through the dissection of pellets. We have been involved through lectures on GREFA, biodiversity and sustainability, as well as practical activities such as bird identification, the hospital case game, observing nest box cameras or identifying tracks.
They also dissected barn owl pellets collected from the nest boxes and reconstructed the skeletons of the micromammals they had eaten. In the next step they made informative posters and gave all the information to the 1st year students so that they could dissect the pellets and learn about this project.
