Durante junio y julio hemos estado haciendo en GREFA campamentos de verano para niños. Hemos hecho muchas actividades diferentes con ellos, entre ellas, muchas relacionadas con Docendo Discimus. Hemos visto a las aves esteparias irrecuperables y hemos ayudado con su alimentación, hemos aprendido sobre su hábitat y sobre identificación, también hemos hecho actividades sobre insectos, anfibios y hemos diseccionado egagrópilas de lechuza.

En cuanto a insectos, hemos hecho una de las actividades que están colgadas en «Actividades-Recursos». Hemos aprendido a distingur un insecto, de otros animales que no lo son, hemos conocido curiosidades y la importancia de los insectos más emblemáticos de la península, hemos jugado a los «Poque-insectos» y les hemos ayudado construyendo hoteles de insectos.

Every summer GREFA offers day camps for children. We did many different activities with them, including many related to Docendo Discimus. We saw the endangered steppe birds and helped with their feeding, we learned about their habitat and how to identify them, we also did activities about insects and amphibians and we dissected owl pellets.

Regarding insects, we did one of the activities listed under ‘Activities-Resources’. We learnt to distinguish an insect from other animals that are not, and found out fun facts about them and the importance of the most emblematic insects of the peninsula. We then played the card game ‘Poque-insects’ and finally we helped them by building insect hotels.

Además, hemos probado juegos de identificación que hicieron los grupos de la Universidad de Valladolid, el Colegio Príncipes de Asturias en Quijorna y el Instituto de Capacitación Agraria en Villaviciosa de Odón. Después, han sido ellos los que han creado sus propios juegos.

We also tested identification games created by groups from the University of Valladolid, the Príncipes de Asturias primary school in Quijorna and the Instituto de Capacitación Agraria in Villaviciosa de Odón. The children then created their own games.
