Ayer, día 11 de junio, realizamos un encuentro online repleto de creatividad y compromiso ambiental, el alumnado de 2º de Primaria del CEIP Príncipes de Asturias (Quijorna, Madrid), junto con una educadora ambiental de GREFA y el Proyecto MIRAR-Fundación Personas (Castilla y León), se reunieron para compartir y expandir sus capacidades ecocreativas.
El evento, centrado en destacar la importancia de la participación de todos en la protección de las aves, comenzó con el alumnado de colegio de Quijorna explicando cómo el Proyecto MIRAR, con sus abrazapájaros, los inspiró a crear sus propios personajes. Estos personajes, que formaron parte de una exposición de dibujos, tomaron vida en dos nuevos abrazapájaros llamados GREFA y GREFI, cada uno con su propia historia. Los niños presentaron este vídeo, mostrando todo el proceso creativo y el resultado final de sus trabajos.
Por su parte, el Proyecto MIRAR-Fundación Personas compartió su experiencia en la creación de los primeros abrazapájaros , mostrando el recorrido de estos personajes y comentando sobre las actividades realizadas en el colegio de Quijorna. Por ello, durante esta reunión, el alumnado de 2º de Primaria, mostró un entusiasmo notable por las historias de los Abrazapájaros creados por los usuarios y usuarias de la Fundación Personas. Tanto fue así que, durante la conexión en directo, se acordó la creación de un podcast donde se narrarán estos relatos, incluyendo las nuevas tramas inventadas para los personajes GREFA y GREFI.
Además, desde el Proyecto MIRAR, se lanzó un nuevo reto para el CEIP Príncipes de Asturias y GREFA: consiste en la construcción de mini Abrazapájaros con el fin de extender la idea de ayudar a las aves y concienciar sobre su supervivencia.
On 11th June, we held an online meeting full of creativity and environmental commitment. Year 2 students from Príncipes de Asturias Primary School (Quijorna, Madrid), together with an environmental educator from GREFA and the MIRAR-Fundación Personas Project (Castilla y León), came together to share and expand their eco-creative skills.
The event, focused on highlighting the importance of everyone’s participation in the protection of birds, began with the primary school students. They explained how the MIRAR Project, and its «Bird Huggers», inspired them to create their own characters. These characters, which formed part of an exhibition of drawings, came to life in two new bird huggers called GREFA and GREFI, each one with their own story. The children presented this video, showing the whole creative process and the final result of their work.
Meanwhile, the MIRAR-Fundación Personas Project shared its experience in the creation of the first «Bird Huggers», showing the journey of these characters and commenting on the activities carried out at the school in Quijorna. Therefore, during this meeting, the primary school students showed a remarkable enthusiasm for the stories of the «Bird Huggers» created by the students of the Fundación Personas. So much so that, during the live connection, it was agreed to create a podcast where these stories will be narrated, including the new plots invented for the characters GREFA and GREFI.
In addition, the MIRAR Project, launched a new challenge for the Príncipes de Asturias Primary School and GREFA: it consists of the construction of mini Bird Huggers in order to spread the idea of helping birds and raising awareness about their survival.
